RD Capital Rentals – Terms & Conditions

1. Rental Agreement & Acceptance

1.1 By renting equipment from RD Capital Rentals, the customer agrees to these terms and conditions.
1.2 A rental contract must be signed before equipment is released.

2. Booking, Payment & Security Deposit

2.1 A deposit may be required to secure a booking. Full payment is due before or upon pickup.
2.2 Payments can be made via cash, bank transfer, or other agreed methods.
2.3 A refundable security deposit may be required to cover potential damage or loss.

3. Cancellation & Refund Policy

3.1 Cancellations made at least 48 hours before the rental date may receive a full refund.
3.2 Cancellations within 48 hours may result in a partial refund at RD Capital Rentals’ discretion.
3.3 No refund will be issued for cancellations on the day of the event.

4. Equipment Use & Responsibility

4.1 Customers must use the equipment as intended and in a safe manner.
4.2 The customer is responsible for any loss, theft, or damage to the equipment during the rental period.
4.3 Repairs or replacements due to damage beyond normal wear and tear will be charged to the customer.

5. Collection & Return

5.1 The customer is responsible for picking up and returning the equipment at the agreed time and location.
5.2 Late returns may result in additional charges.
5.3 Equipment must be returned in its original condition.

6. Liability & Indemnity

6.1 RD Capital Rentals is not liable for any personal injury, property damage, or loss arising from the use of rented equipment.
6.2 The customer agrees to indemnify RD Capital Rentals against any claims related to improper use of equipment.

7. Consumer Rights

7.1 RD Capital Rentals complies with Australian Consumer Law, ensuring equipment is of acceptable quality and fit for purpose.

RD Capital Rentals – Company Bylaws

1. Business Structure & Governance

1.1 RD Capital Rentals operates as a small business providing event equipment rentals.
1.2 The business is managed by the owner and may engage employees or contractors as needed.

2. Customer Relations & Dispute Resolution

2.1 We commit to fair and ethical business practices in line with Australian Consumer Law.
2.2 Customer disputes should be reported in writing and will be resolved within 14 business days.
2.3 If a dispute cannot be resolved, customers may seek external resolution through the Australian Competition & Consumer Commission (ACCC) or relevant authorities.

3. Financial & Contract Management

3.1 All financial transactions must be recorded accurately and comply with tax obligations.
3.2 Rental contracts must be stored securely for record-keeping purposes.
3.3 Late payments, damages, or breaches of contract may result in legal action if necessary.

4. Equipment Maintenance & Safety

4.1 All rental equipment must be maintained in safe, working condition.
4.2 Equipment must be inspected before and after each rental period.
4.3 Customers must be given clear instructions on equipment use to ensure safety.

5. Business Conduct & Ethics

5.1 RD Capital Rentals will operate with honesty, transparency, and fairness.
5.2 Discrimination, harassment, or unethical behavior will not be tolerated within the business.
5.3 Employees and contractors must follow professional conduct and customer service standards.
